PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recognize moving bodies overlapped each other on images by dividing them. SOLUTION: This device has an image storage part for storing a plurality of time series images and background images; and an image processing part conducting image processing by making retroactive time. The image processing part recognizes a moving body by comparing image at time t of a plurality of time series images with its background image, gives an identification code to the recognized moving body (S2); finds a moving vector of each moving body contained in images at time t (S3); and assuming that a region on the moving body contained in the image at (t-1) has an identification code X, estimates a region on the image at time t corresponding to the region on the moving body (S4) based on the moving vector, finds a correlation degree of both regions, decides an identification code to be imparted to these regions based on the magnitude of the correlation degrees, and thereby, divides a non- separation moving body contained in the image at time (t-1). |
