PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the troublesomeness of confirming and a case of not being able to receive data certainly, even if the user of a personal digital assistant confirms an indication of a received electric field strength of radio electric waves from a base station and even if he guesses that communication can be made with the base station by a personal digital assistant which receives distributed data from the base station by wireless communication, using a semi- microwave band or a microwave band and regenerates the data at any time. SOLUTION: In this invention, the user of the personal digital assistant will not need to be aware of the electric field strength received and can receive the data certainly, while suppressing the consumption power to the utmost by following method: the personal digital assistant monitors the received electric field strength of the radio electric waves from the base station with a small consumption power at the waiting condition, and makes itself automatically shifted to the receiving conditions, when the received electric field strength becomes larger than the prescribed strength value and the variance of the received electric field strength becomes lower than the prescribed variance value. |
