<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reel driving mechanism with a simplified swinging mechanism carrying out swinging operation during mode transition. SOLUTION: This reel driving mechanism comprises a mode mechanism 43 having a pin 51 in its interior, rotatably composed by driving forces of drive sources 41 and 42, and controlling a plurality of operation modes; a cam member 54 energized in one direction by a spring 53, having an engagement member 49 selectively engaging to the pin, and linearly moved in accordance with the operation mode of the mode mechanism; a swinging member 57 having a protruding part 76 in one part, energized in one direction by a spring 58 in normal times, and rotating in a direction different from the one direction when the protruding part and a part 77 of the cam member are engaged; and control members 55 and 56 connected to the cam member and controlling rotations of reel bases 35 and 36 in accordance with the operation mode of the mode mechanism. The cam member is composed so as to control drives of the reel bases 35 and 36 via the swinging member by selectively engaging to the pin 51 following each operation mode of the mode mechanism.</p> |
