PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and machine for mounting an electronic part in which the data about terminal height of an electronic part is acquired accurately and fast, for sure inspection of bloating terminals. SOLUTION: A plurality of light beams (L1-1, L2-1, and L3-1) are projected near a terminal 12a of an electronic part 12 in which the deviation in suction angle is corrected. An optimum image is extracted out of the images provided by projecting the plurality of light beams, and a terminal height is calculated based on the extracted image data. The electronic part is further rotated another 90 deg. (B) to acquire the data about terminal height as well. Based on the data for terminal height around the 90 deg. rotations, the data of terminal height in which a tilt against the vertical axis of a nozzle shaft is corrected is acquired. With this configuration, a height data is acquired accurately and fast, preventing erroneous judgement at inspecting leads floating. |
