PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for processing document, with which a structured document can be easily edited. SOLUTION: In a step S100, a background content display area is prepared. In a step S101, the document elements of the structured document are read. In a step S102, the start of a most significant document structure is detected. In a step S103, a pain preparing instruction concerning such a structure is obtained, whether it is the pain preparing instruction is decided in a step S104 and when it is the pain preparing instruction, in a step S105, a pain is prepared. In a step S106, the width of a document content display area is determined. In a step S107, the document content display area is prepared. When it is decided in the step S102 that it is not the structure start, in a step S108, whether they are document contents or not is decided and when they are the document contents, in a step S109, the position in the document content display area to start content display and a margin are calculated. In a step S110, the contents are displayed and in a step S111, a document content display state such as a final display position is stored. Then, processing is returned to the step S101 again. |
