PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voltage equalizer for battery units which can bring the terminal voltages of series connected batteries to a target by leveling them without overcharging or over discharging while overcoming defects in the voltage equalizer circuit of fly-back or forward type. SOLUTION: In the voltage equalizer forming plural closed circuits by series connecting plural coils P1-Pn inductively coupled each other, plural battery units E1-En, and first plural switching elements S1-Sn, a reference voltage coil PP is provided coupling with plural coils and series connected to a dc power supply EP and a second switching element SP. It is featured in that the above first plural and second switching elements all turn on and off synchronously.
