PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the automatic packaging of coin batteries and to prevent their short circuit. SOLUTION: A bar cartridge 1 has a coin battery housing part 2 in a hollowing part, the housing part 2 having a plurality of pairs of ribs for housing a number of coin batteries 4 in a law in a constant condition. The pairs of ribs consist of a first pair of ribs having projections whose ends support the bottom of the positive electrode of the coin batteries 4, and the gap between the ribs is shorter than the diameter of the negative electrode of the coin batteries 4, a second pair of ribs having projections whose ends are in contact with the side of the positive electrode tube of the coin batteries 4, and the gap between the ribs is about as long as the diameter of the positive electrode of the coin batteries 4, and a third pair of ribs, between which the negative electrode of the coin batteries 4 is inserted, and the gap formed by the ribs is longer than the diameter of the negative electrode of the coin batteries 4. The cartridge 1 is made of resin, and is also applicable when a rubber stopper 3 is inserted into the both ends of the cartridge, the rubber stopper having a return for preventing the slipping off of the batteries from the cartridge and a click for pulling out of the batteries from the cartridge. To take out the coin batteries 4 from the cartridge 1, the rubber stopper 3 is pulled out from one end of the cartridge.
