PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve malfunctions of a leakage indicating button, such as the leakage indicating button is not projected even when tripped. SOLUTION: A ground fault circuit interrupter has an electromagnetic apparatus 7 having a movable iron core 8. When a ground fault is detected, the movable iron core is activated to open a movable contact 14, and at the same time, an indicating button 20 is projected to indicate the leakage. A return preventing board 26 is provided for temporarily preventing return of the movable iron core 8 which is activated by the detected ground fault current. The return preventing board 26 is so constructed that the return preventing board returns to its home position after the indicating button 20 is projected.
