PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to easily find out an intended page out of a page group returned from a search engine by examining the retrieved result from multilateral viewpoints while using retrieval evaluation information except for the degree of matching with a keyword. SOLUTION: When the re-sort request of a relevant page information group is issued from user terminals 11-13 to a retrieval server 14 while defining an evaluation information identifier and a reference page to become the reference of evaluation as arguments, the retrieval server 14 issues an evaluation information acquisition request to an evaluation information server 15 and the evaluation information server 15 previously calculates evaluation information from respective pages and registers it on an evaluation information database 16. When the evaluation information does not exist as a result of retrieval, the evaluation information is calculated, fees corresponding to the evaluation information are charged and the calculated result is returned to the retrieval server 14. Then, the retrieval server 14 sorts the calculated results in the order of evaluation information and returns them to the user terminals 11-13.
