PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parameter constituting method capable of providing a communication service without making a user newly perform setting after network equipment is introduced. SOLUTION: An N broadcasts and retrieves a network equipment having the same type of service as its own on a local network in which the N itself exists (a step 11). In this case, it is necessary for the same service to own and use a parameter necessary for itself, and to be able to remotely acquire the value. When a node N0 is retrieved (a step 12; Y), necessary parameter in inquired by an SNMP, and the value is acquired (a step 14). The parameter value is acquired from the retrieved node N0 (a step 16), and stored in its own NVRAM as it is (a step 17).
