PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brushless DC motor having a high torque output by always keeping a the air gap constant and narrow by disposing the magnetic yoke of its rotor facing the stator core of its stator. SOLUTION: The brushless DC motor has the stator consisting of a stator coil 3 on the stator core 4 and the rotor which penetrates and fixes a center yoke 6 fixing a permanent magnet 10 to a shaft 1 with adhesive and magnetic yokes 5, 9. The magnetic yokes 5, 9 have respectively top face parts 5a, 9a which form each circle plane vertical to the shaft 1 and side face parts 5b, 9b which form each curved surface along the shaft 1. The top face parts 5a, 9a are fixed to the shaft 1 by contacting the permanent magnet 10, and the side face parts 5b, 9b accommodate the permanent magnet 10 inside and face the stator core 4 with a minute gapαoutside.
