<p>The present invention relates to the cloning of intron-containing ACA (Amaranthus caudatus agglutinin) gene and the coding region gene sequence of the ACA protein. The microbiological expressing vector was transformed with the said coding gene, so that the ACA protein could be produced by microbe. Transgenic plants show antiaphid activity because of the efficient expression of the ACA gene. The gene finds commercial application in plant antiaphid genetic engineering and improvement of the plant variety.</p> |
