METHOD AND DEVICE FOR LIGHTING ENVIRONMENT EVALUATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To evaluate the lighting environment in each room when a rough room layout is designed by using a computer. SOLUTION: Shape data regarding the room layout of a building to be evaluated and the opening parts W of the respective rooms are stored in a shape data storage means 10 and the illumination distribution in a desired room of the building to be evaluated is computed by an arithmetic means 12 according to the shape data on the opening part.
