PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dc power supply which has parallel connected dc power supply units and can supply power meeting the load demand. SOLUTION: The power supply system comprises a dc power supply 10 consisting of parallel connected plural power supply units 11-14 having the rated current IU controlled by a unit current controller to meet the target load current, and a control 20 consisting of a setting means 21 to decide the load demand current IS, an operation checker 22 to find the operating dc power supply units, and a target calculator 23 to obtain the above target. The target calculator 23 is provided with a calculating function to obtain IS/m that is the load demand IS divided by the number of the operating dc supply units and a function to output this IS/m as the above target. Further, the target calculator 23it outputs IU as the above target if it is found by the above calculation that the IS/m exceeds the rated unit current IU. |
