PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a step motor driver which can reduced stop positional errors with less power consumption. SOLUTION: The step motor driver of the two-phase PM type comprises a storage means for storing a first microstep drive table, consisting of values for combination of the PWM values applied to each phase, a calculation means for conducting the calculation based on the first function to the values of the first microstep drive table and a setting means for setting the number of drive steps of the stepping motor, in order to select, depending on the region in the step present by the setting means, either of the first microstep drive table or the microstep drive table after calculation, based on the first function is conducted for the values of the first microstep drive table with the calculation means. |
