PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a bow tie antenna in which antenna size can be reduced. SOLUTION: The bow tie antenna consists of a first conductor 1 and a second conductor 2 each having a shape of an isosceles triangle and feeding points 3 each provided at the apex formed by equal sides 4 of each triangle of the first and second conductors, and the bases of triangles other than the equal sides of the first and second conductors are arranged with spaces so as to be axisymmetrical about an axial line parallel to each base. In this antenna, the electrical lengths of the isosceles triangles of the conductor 1 and the conductor 2 are extended so as to be longer. Especially, the equal sides of each triangle of the conductors 1 and 2 are made to be curved line e.g. an arc 6 or step-like. Otherwise, the base of the triangle other than the equal sides of the first and second conductors are extended in an orthogonal direction and are folded vertically.
