OPTICAL SWITCH DEVICE AND OPTICAL TRANSMITTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical switch device and an optical transmitter capable of easily performing redundant switching. SOLUTION: Optical signals inputted to input ports 101a-101f are respectively branched into two by 1×2 light splitters 102a-102f and inputted to twelve input terminals of an optical matrix switch 103 later. Then, these optical signals are outputted from any arbitrary output port of six output ports 104a-104f corresponding to switching setting of the optical matrix switch 103 as a route and optical signals from the same input port can be outputted from two different output ports so that bridging can be performed in the case of redundant switching.
