PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal capable of storing the selection range of document within the screen of the portable terminal in a template and inserting a document stored in the template into the selection range on the other hand. SOLUTION: Range setting is performed by setting a first marker by moving a cursor to any arbitrary position within a document on the screen of the portable terminal, and continuously setting a second marker by moving the cursor to any arbitrary position within the same document. Either a document within the range held between two marker positions of range setting or document outside the range held between two marker positions can be selected as a setting range. The documents in these selection ranges are added to a template list and routine sentences on the template list can be inserted into the selection ranges on the other hand. |
