<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide radio equipment for achieving improved antenna characteristics in both states where it is used and is not used. SOLUTION: In the portable radio equipment, a first enclosure 10 incorporating a data-processing section and a second enclosure 11 incorporating a radio section 17 are connected so that they can be varied in used and unused mode. A main radiation element 18 connected to the radio section 17 is provided at the second enclosure 11, and an auxiliary radiation element 15 is provided at a position close to the main radiation element 18 at the first enclosure 10 in an unused mode.</p> |
