PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-purpose software specified type radio communication device, which is highly practical and can conduct two tasks or more, at the same time. SOLUTION: The multi-purpose software specified type radio communication device comprises antennas 11 and 12, two receiving means, and switching means 21 and 51, which are interposed among these units and selectively change a signal passage among these units. The receiving means are composed of direct frequency conversion circuits 61 and 62, which convert high-frequency signals into baseband signals, and digital circuits 81 and 82, which can be re-built. The digital circuit 81 and 82, capable of being re-built use a FPGA(field programmable gate array), for example, and load a desired program into the memory of the FPGA, and conduct processings in accordance with the program. Data are exchanged with a data connection means 91 between the two digital circuits 81 and 82, which can be re-built.
