PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain proper image data and to obtain comfortable sense of operation, even with respect to suspending operation of photographing during a long-period exposure. SOLUTION: In long photographing processing, a time for exposure is divided by each fixed time decided in advance and stored/read, dark data are subtracted from the data, and outputted plural video signals are added to ultimately obtain a single sheet of video signal. In this case, a system control circuit 50 repeats unit processing, such as finishing of storing by an imaging device 14 (step S622), reading of an imaging signal (step S623), imaging signal arithmetic processing (step S624), the increment of the number of storing times (step S625) and starting of storing (step S626), checks whether a power switch 72 is turned off for each finishing of the unit processing (step S620) to close a shutter, when it has been turned off (step S610).
