PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the protection structure of a wire that can prevent the wire of a ribbon cable from directly coming into contact with the sharp edge of the plate end edge of a flat body for electric equipment such as a shield plate and a heat sink for preventing damage in the wire, and can keep durability for a long time without deterioration and falling-off due to heat generated from the flat body such as the heat sink. SOLUTION: The wire 5 of such as a ribbon cable in the flat body 3 for electric equipment such as the shield plate and heat sink comes into contact with the plate end edge 31. A notching 32 is formed near the plate end edge 31 so that the notching bites into the inside. A heat-shrinkable tube 6 is inserted into a thin plate piece section 33 formed between the notching 32 and plate end edge 31, heat is applied to the heat-shrinkable tube 6, the heat-shrinkable tube 6 is shrunk for sticking to the thin plate piece section 33. The shrunk heat-shrinkable tube 6 prevents the wire 5 from directly coming into contact with the plate end edge 31 of the flat body 3 for electric equipment, thus protecting the wire 5.
