<p>One describes a control system for an induction motor (MT) comprising a rotor, a coiled stator, containing at least one running coil and one starting coil (SC), a starting device (SD) and a source of alternating current (PS), the system comprising a control device (DC), the running coil (M) of the motor (MT) being divided into at least two portions (MC1 and MC2), the control device (DC) promoting selective connection of the power source (PS) for the first portion (MC1) of the march (MT) or the first portion (MC1) and second portion (MC2) connected in series, as a function of thepower factor measured in the running coil (M) of the motor (MT). One describes also an electric motor (MT), more specifically a motor (MT) having its running coil divided into two portions (MC1, MC2), which are selectively actuatable to conform to operation conditions and guarantee the increase in its efficiency, as well asa method of controlling this motor (MT).</p> |
