AGENTS AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING PLANT FOLIAGE DISEASES

Agents for controlling plant foliage diseases typified by gray mold, leaf mold and powdery mildew which exert no undesirable effect on natural environment and yet show a sustained disease-controlling effect; and a method of controlling the plant foliage diseases by using these agents. Namely, agents for controlling plant foliage diseases containing as the active ingredient a microorganism belonging to the genus Talaromyces, which has an antagonism to pathogenic microorganisms causing these plant foliage diseases, or its culture; and a controlling method by applying these agents to plant leaves and stems.
