A distortion compensation circuit comprising a secondary distortion generating circuit (12), an amplitude-frequency characteristic compensation circuit (16) provided in the output coupling part of the secondary distortion generating circuit (12), a distribution directional coupler (14) for distributing an RF signal provided at the front of the secondary distortion generating circuit (12), a tertiary distortion generating circuit (13) provided in the coupling port, an amplitude-frequency characteristic compensation circuit (26) provided behind the tertiary distortion generating circuit (13), a phase-frequency characteristic compensation delay line (16) for the signals of the secondary distortion generating circuit (12) and the tertiary distortion generating circuit (13), and a synthesization directional coupler (15) for combining the signals of the secondary and tertiary distortion generating circuits (12, 13).
