PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging unit, external equipment, an imaging system and an imaging method, capable of opening image memory by performing the transferring operation of a digital image signal automatically, without having to have a user cancel photographing preparation instructions or photographing instructions. SOLUTION: When a RAM 121 is full and is not capable of storing new digital image signals, in the case a digital camera 100 is in preparing photographing or in carrying out photographing and an image which has already been stored in a recording medium 123 exists on the RAM 121, the camera 100 transfers digital image signals stored in the RAM 121 to a computer 200. |
