PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cell of a solid electrolyte fuel cell, capable of providing high output density at early stage and keeping high output density over a long time, and to provide the manufacturing method thereof. SOLUTION: The cell of the solid electrolyte fuel cell is manufactured, in such a way that a solid electrolyte 31 whose main component is ZrO2 and a fuel electrode 33 are stacked on the surface of an air electrode 32, comprising a perovskite type composite oxide containing La and Mn, and the air electrode 32 and the solid electrolyte 31 are sintered simultaneously. A diffusion preventing layer 41 comprising an oxide of Y, Zr, and Ce is formed between the solid electrolyte 31 and the air electrode 32. |
