PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid abrupt input torque change when changing the voltage boosting depending on the revolutions of a generator and prevent generator noise and vibration caused by the input torque fluctuations when changing its output power distribution to a high voltage battery or a low voltage battery. SOLUTION: When charging a low voltage battery BL, field-effect transistors Q1-Q3 are turned on to supply the output power of the generator ACG to the battery BL through rectifiers D1-D3. When charging a high voltage battery BH, the field-effect transistors Q1-Q3 are turned off to supply the output power of the generator ACG to the battery BH through rectifiers D4-D6. By switching the field-effect transistors Q4-Q6, the output of the generator ACG is turned on and off to control the duty ratio of the output of the generator so as to suppress the input torque fluctuation. |
