PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noncontact IC card transaction device that can reliably process a noncontact IC card and is small and inexpensive. SOLUTION: The noncontact IC card transaction device capable of executing different types of transaction using a noncontact IC card has an envelope-shaped card holding part having a card insertion opening on the top surface and a card discharge opening in the bottom surface, a card receiving part positioned just under the card discharge opening, a card stopper capable of reciprocation into a card storing space in the card holding part, and a reader/writer for reading and writing data from and into the noncontact IC card. During processing on the noncontact IC card, the card stopper is advanced into the card storing space to hold the noncontact IC card, and after the processing, the card stopper is retreated from the card storing space and the noncontact IC card is dropped from the card holding part to the card receiving part so as to be discharged. |
