SOLUTION: When data are recorded/reproduced to/from a magnetic disk 11, a magnetic head 13 is spirally traveled on the signal recording surface of the magnetic disk 11, and recording/reproducing is carried out by the information unit (sector size) of a size having one or more rounds of the magnetic disk 11.
