An information transmitting/receiving system assigns priorities to respective information and allows all the information to be received in a case when all the information cannot be transmitted at a time due to a limitation of communication means. The information transmitting/receiving system comprises a handwritten information extracting apparatus (405) that divides information into a plurality of data sets; a data transmission setting unit (406) that sets the times to transmit the plurality of divided data to respective data transmitting apparatuses and also sets the assignment of the transmitting apparatuses; a communication apparatus (402) that transmits the divided data from an information data transmitting unit (407) via a transmitting/receiving server (416); and a mobile information apparatus (403). The mobile information apparatus (403) comprises a handwritten/image data receiving unit (410) that receives the data; a handwritten/image data processing unit (411) that restores the received data to the original information; and a handwritten/image data display unit (412) that displays the information.
