PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with a high voltage DC power supply by a method, wherein when a voltage peak value necessary for applying a composite current is large, the voltage is stepped up properly by a step-up circuit comprising small capacity devices only. SOLUTION: This drive circuit of dynamoelectric machines supplies composite currents, obtained by the composition of a control current for a 1st dynamoelectric machine, mainly used as a motor, and a control current for a 2nd dynamoelectric machine, mainly used as a generator, to both the two dynamoelectric machines by an inverter (23) connected to a DC power supply (24). A step-up circuit (31) is provided at a position, where a control current for the power operation of the 1st dynamoelectric machine and a control current for power generation of the 2nd dynamoelectric machine cancel each other. |
