PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-level EPG function by introducing a high-function portable terminal when a television receiver or television broadcasting recorder corresponds to operation by means of a remote controller even when such equipment does not correspond to an EPG. SOLUTION: By integrating a communication terminal for moving object such as portable telephone or PHS equipped with a character/image display device and a remote controller for the television receiver/recorder, procedures for the electronic distribution of a television broadcasting program table, program selection utilizing that distribution and reservation of recording to television recording equipment are enabled and in a television program audience rating research, program viewing frequency, time or taste trend for each television viewer can be grasped so that a client can be immediately guided from a television advertisement to an electronic commerce on a computer network.
