PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information collection managing device, capable of collecting related information by adaptively corresponding to various states in a customer station network, storing the collected information in its inside and informing a user of the information collected. SOLUTION: When a detected failure in the customer station device is one which has hardly occurred in the past, a customer station network monitoring part 31 informs a keyword extraction part 32 of a failure state collected from the customer station device generating the failure and information related to the device such as a manufacturer name and a type name previously stored in an information storage part 34. The keyword extraction part 32 extracts some keywords on the basis of the information. A database retrieving part 33 accesses a database in an external network 5 through an external network I/F 37 on the basis of the keywords sent from the extraction part 32, acquires failure-related information matched with the keywords, and stores the acquired information in the information storage part 34. An inspection result information part 35 informs a user or the like of the acquired information. |
