PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching power supply which improves heat radiation of a heat generating component, can reduce the space for a printed board and then the whole mount space, and can be lowered in cost. SOLUTION: The printed board 4 is arranged in parallel to the bottom plate 1a of the switching power supply while forming a gap G with the bottom plate part 1a. The heat generating component 13 is arranged in the gap G and fitted to the bottom plate 1a in a thermal coupling state. Further, it is electrically connected to a wiring pattern of the printed board 4.
