A system and method for supplying electricity for use with a host device (50 ). The system includes a structure (20) and an interface (30). The structure includes an array of single-walled carbon nanotubes (22) arranged with respe ct to a matrix (21). In operation, the system receives a force stimulus for facilitating piezoelectric generation of electricity. In particular, the arr ay receives the force and piezoelectrically generates electricity therefrom. Th e array is electrically coupled with the interface. The interface allows the structure to supply electricity to electrical devices that are coupled to th e interface.
