PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing system in which an image processing unit compares the printing condition which it can provide with the printing condition inquired from an information processing unit, and, if the both printing conditions do not match, transfers a printing condition close to the inquired printing condition to the information processing unit as a substitute. SOLUTION: The information processing unit A (2) has a storage means 25 that stores printing condition items, a print setting display controlling means 22 that displays a print setting screen on the basis of the printing condition item, a printing condition inquiring means 23 that makes an inquiry about the printing condition to the image processing unit A (3), and a means that makes the image processing unit A (3) print under the printing condition of the response information from the image processing unit A (3). Moreover, the image processing unit A (3) has a printing condition analyzing means 31 that, on the basis of the inquiry from the information processing unit A (2) about the printing condition, calculates the printing condition that the image processing unit A (3) can provide and is suited or closest to the inquired printing condition, and sends out the calculated result. |
