PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transfer device capable of accelerating a data transfer speed when performing burst transfer. SOLUTION: An adder 24 adds addresses (+32) for the next block to addresses in an address buffer 22 and sends the addresses through a selector 21 to an address buffer 23. Therefore, even when the addresses in the address buffer 23 exceed an address boundary because of burst transfer, data are held in a data buffer 14 and at the same time, the following leading address generated by the adder 24 is held. Accordingly, it is not necessary to interrupt the burst transfer on the address boundary and the data transfer speed when performing the burst transfer can be accelerated.
