PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure reducing valve which can prevent a fault from occurring by preventing a foreign matter from being caught in. SOLUTION: Feed water pressure is reduced by setting a gap between a valve stem 17 and a pressure reduction port 15 to <=0.5 mm to reduce pressure pushing a diaphragm 25 up, a gap (flow passage constriction part) between a seal part 15a of the pressure reduction port 15 and a pressure reducing valve main body 16 thereby becomes large, so that no foreign matter will be caught in the flow passage constriction part 60.
