<p>A transmitter broadcasts data through a broadcast line using a broadcast wave as its medium. A receiver receives the broadcast data. If a transmitter resends data only through a broadcast line or a two-way communication line, the distribution efficiency is low and the reliability cannot be ensured. According to the invention, a resending request receiving means of the transmitter receives a resending request from a receiver, and resending request storage means stores therein the resending request, selects a transmission line used for the data resending in response to the resending request from a broadcast line and a two-way communication line, and resends data through the selected line. Therefore the distribution efficiency is high and the reliability is ensured.</p> |
