PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a public race betting system and a public race betting method by which a betting amount can be freely increased even on the very day when a race is held without opening a special bank account and without needing special software and a public race can be betted through a public line, and to provide a recording medium on which a program for performing the method is recorded. SOLUTION: In this public race betting system, a bettor terminal provided on a bettor side, a public race betting system server provided on a public race betting provider side having a means for preparing an electronic prepaid card to the bettor terminal, a means for performing and managing the betting and a means for refunding the electronic prepaid card, and a bank host computer provided on a banker side having a means for authenticating a debit card account, a means for performing money paying procedure at the time of buying a betting ticket and a means for performing deposit procedure at the time of making a refund are connected to each other through a network. |
