PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an M sequence generation method, an M sequence generation circuit and a PN sequence generation circuit capable of quickly calculating the state of a register when an optional phase is shifted without increasing memory capacity. SOLUTION: The M sequence generation circuit provided with an M sequence generation means for generating an M sequence by forming a feedback tap in a shift register is also provided with a calculation means for calculating a mask pattern for shifting 2N phase in the M sequence when N is 0 or a natural number, and an output means for outputting an M sequence obtained by applying the mask pattern to the M sequence outputted from the M sequence generation means and shifting the 2N phase and a register value obtained by shifting the 2N phase. |
