<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the range of programs selectable for a subscriber is so restricted that it is impossible for the subscriber to view favorite programs freely because when joining a CATV, the subscriber is obliged to buy programs which are prepared by the CATV company and the company delivers programs selected by the subscriber within the programs bought by the subscriber. SOLUTION: In a program delivery method to channel for personal use only, the subscriber inputs programs desired to view to a program list provided by a CATV company 20 by using a user terminal 10 via the Internet 100, the company 20 requests relevant programs to a contents service provider(CSP) 40 providing programs of various categories based on the programs registered by the subscriber via the Internet 100, the CSP 40 provides the programs of the requested contents, and the company transmits the programs provided by the CSP 40 as appear in the program list to a TV receiver 30 at subscriber's home via a CATV network 200.</p> |
