<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spread spectrum receiver, for which the spread spectrum system of a very high chip rate and satisfactory power efficiency can be designed while its circuit complexity has no relation to the chip rate, and which can reduce power consumption and can conduct digital processing by the data symbol rate, in place of the chip rate. SOLUTION: Circuits 21 and 22, based on the direct conversion technology, are adopted for the spread spectrum receiver. The circuits have the complexity reduce considerably and permit spread spectrum receivers of a chip rat which is very much higher than the one realized by a perfect digital receiver of standard approach. According to usage of these circuits, digital processing at the receiver is executed by the data symbol rate, in place of the chip rate, used conventionally in the design of spread spectrum and CDMA receivers in the background technology.</p> |
