PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology by which an individual user of an electronic network can anonymously utilize the network such as information retrieval, information inquiry, acquisition of information and data, and on-line shopping. SOLUTION: When a user 2 generates information data to be sent to an information provider, the user 2 enters an address of the information provider as a destination to the data and enters a mail address of the user 2 as a sender to the data. However a proxy server once receiving the data changes the mail address of the information provider 3 into an address of the proxy server 1 and replaces the address and name of the user with a proxy address and a proxy service ID in pairs. Furthermore, similar address conversion is applied to a header block of information data from a user computer 2. After the address conversion above, the information data are transmitted to the information provider 3 by using the proxy server for the sender.
