PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing fluorescent lamp, which can easily form a homogeneous fluorescent substance particle layer by taking advantage of an electrostatic coating. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the fluorescent lamp comprises a step, which forms a fluorescent substance particle layer 3 on an inner wall surface of a translucent bulb 1 with an electrostatic coating, where the electrostatic coating is performed with a grounded conductor 2 located on the outer surface of the transparent bulb 1 and with fluorescent substance particles ejected from electrostatic coating nozzle 4.
