PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome the problems of a prior art such that much time is required to input an amount of money received from a customer by a numerical key board and operate a deposit key as a deposit, and that erroneous input and the like are generated. SOLUTION: A list of proposal deposit amounts from the customer is displayed on an LCD with respect to a charge amount charged to the customer. [S1] This step S1 is advanced to S2 when the deposit is cash, and advanced to S4 when the deposit is not cash. [S2] This step S2 is advanced to S5 when the proposal deposit amount being matched with the deposit amount from the customer is displayed on the LCD, and advanced to S3 when not displayed. [S3] The depodit amount from the customer is input from the numeral keyboard. [S4] A receipt or the like is issued. [S5] A touch key of the proposal deposit amount consitent with the deposit amount from the customer is operated. That is, the proposal deposit amount of high possibility provided from the customer is displayed preliminarily on the touch key of this POS(point of sale) and accounts are allowed thereby by touching the corresponding touch key.
