The ventilator unit includes a fan (6) having a leading edge (22) and a trailing edge, (24) rotating on the stator (8). The aero-dynamic elements (9) of the stator are placed between the heat exchanger (2) and the leading edge, when the unit (4) is in a functioning position facing the heat-exchanger. The distance (32) between the leading edge and the aerodynamic elements is in the neighborhood of three chords of the fan.
