A compacting means is placed in a shaft (4) having a reception opening (5). A manual press slides in the shaft from the opening which is calibrated as a function of the used products' (12) cross section. The press comprises a guide rod (13) for sliding in the shaft and a return spring (21) and has a working section (24) with the dimension of the opening and is delimited by lateral surfaces (7,8,9,10) which close the opening in the rest position. The press has means for its displacement outside the shaft and a means for locking the sliding released by the displacement outside the shaft.
