PURPOSE: A gas cylinder is provided to protect a body of the gas cylinder from outer impact as making by inner and outer body having a hollow part, and keep the pressure inside of the gas cylinder constant as insulating the inside of the gas cylinder from the external temperature. CONSTITUTION: A gas cylinder(G) has a gas storage part(6). A hollow part(3) is formed between an inner body(2) and an outer body(1) of cylindrical form. The inner body and outer body are connected welded to enclose the hollow part. If the hollow part formed between the inner body and the outer body is formed vacuously or is inserted by an antifreezing solution, oil, etc, the heat insulation of the gas cylinder becomes good and the gas stored in the gas storage part is uninfluenced by outdoor air. The change of gas pressure in the gas cylinder by temperature difference between winter and summer, and day and night is prevented and the gas is supplied in constant pressure. The evaporation of the gas is prevented by the low gas temperature according to the decline of the outdoor air and the gas discharge in the winter, and the whole amount can be used even though small amount of the gas remains in the gas cylinder.
